Introducing The Well Community Church: A New Chapter in Ministry

If you've driven past Geyer Road Baptist Church recently, you may have noticed something new and intriguing—references to The Well Community Church. Are we rebranding? Is there a merger happening? Let's unpack this exciting development.

What's Happening?

In essence, The Well Community Church is not a rebranding or a merger with Geyer Road Baptist Church (GRBC). Rather, it's an entirely new church plant aimed at serving the Kirkwood, Sunset Hills, and Crestwood areas. Led by Pastor John DeLuca, The Well is scheduled to kick off its worship services on September 8. In preparation, they have already initiated various activities, Bible studies, and are actively building their core team. The church's foundation is rooted in the gospel and the teachings of Scripture.

Partnership and Support

While GRBC remains a distinct entity, we are enthusiastic supporters of this new endeavor. Recognizing the diverse needs within our community and different approaches to ministry, GRBC has partnered with The Well in various initiatives and events. As Pastor John lays the groundwork for The Well, GRBC has graciously opened its doors, offering the use of our facilities. This partnership extends to hosting The Well's worship services every Sunday afternoon at 4 pm in our building located at 504 S. Geyer.

Moving Forward Together

Looking ahead, we're excited about the possibilities that this collaboration brings. Both churches share a common goal of glorifying God and nurturing disciples of Jesus Christ. While we embark on this journey together, we remain committed to fostering distinct church families—GRBC and The Well—each with its own unique identity and mission.
